you made total sense, and it's definitely how i feel about our current state of affairs. capitalism is a brutal, horrible way of life - however, the better systems, such as communism (in it's purest form), anarchism, socialism and utopianism (my best friend's little invention. yes, i know she's crazy) are unrealistic because people are so bloated and content within their own little spheres of comfort. so we linger and languish in a void of ambiguity and indifference. who else is proud to be an american?
