Well, you wanted a review, so here goes. Beware, it may not be as nice as some other reviews I've left for you, just because I don't think this poem is up to your usual standards, but since you said it's so old, I'll forgive you. ;) Just know that you've improved greatly, okay?

The rhyming is the main thing that stood out to me as the problem. It's forced and kind of silly. But then, it is an old poem.
