I know how you feel. Many people do not realize what loving affectionate critters rats are. My Mother won't let me have rats in the house, she believes they're vermin (but she'll let me have an ant farm, go fig. Anyway I go to the pet store often and am always delighted to see the rats come up of the class of thier cage and try to lick my finger tips as I tap on the glass. Anyways, I hope you get a new little ratty soon.

*sniffle* I can relate to you on that one. when my hamster died, it flet like the end of an era together. v.emotional stuff. good work.
