 Tethys-Orion 2002-12-14 . chapter 1this poem definitely has the seeds of greatness. I speak of the meter; though it is rough and unpolished and some of the phrasing awkward, the poet has a good ear for meter and a great sense of drama and organization. I like the last line best--"when you are the one to bury the dead/ there's no one to sprinkle dirt on your head/" |
