I'm guessing this David character goes through some life-altering soul-searching zenith/catharsis/apotheosis thing during this piece of work, and by reflection it fits nicely with the whole psychology thing...very introspective, although with your descriptions everything is projected to the external. I hope I'm making *some* sort of sense.

I read this trilogy thing in the absolute wrong order...I think I went second, first, then last instead of correctly...I should probably go back and read them again /in order/ so they'll make more sense.

I need to shut up now...
