I finally stopped by to read something of yours. ^_^ I meant to get back to some of my own Kemet writing but I got a block and had to start working on the sequel to "Manitou Island"...ugh. I think that thing will kill me. / Anyway, I enjoyed this story, especially the ending, as it hints at Sakhmet's other side--she was the goddess of destruction, but also the goddess of healing and medicine. So it's only fitting that she would try to heal the people's wounds (even if only the mental ones) at the end of the story. / I'm not sure when I'll be able to but I'll try to check out the other stories sometime...the one with Anubis and Bastet sounds especially intriguing. :) |

But did sehkmet ever marry or anything? I mean...I read that "Forbidden Love" story and I can't help but wonder why Ra would be so obsessive about baset (did i spell that right?) if he still had sehkmet or maat...you know? Okay. That's it. Good short story. |
