Reviews for Whisper
D'Artagnan 4/14/03 . chapter 1
I can't find the hidden meanings, but I like the way it flows.
BecomingMyself 2/12/03 . chapter 1
I am very honored a great writer is reviewing one of my poems out of the blue...

Hidden meanings: To me? Just whispers of arousel can set you on fire without physical contact having felt you were just touched all over, also in your soul...and when it's done, waking up to daily life you're not able to comprehend what had happened..feeling like you dreamt it..but hey, life goes on!

Nicely written as a lot of your other work...

And by the amount of reviews you must be very famous!

In answer to your review: Wistful thinking?

In my case it was more, be careful what you wish for you might get it...three times, SIMULTANEOUSLY!

Please do write on!

Paradoxical Goddess 1/28/03 . chapter 1
Giving explanations of what you think a poem means is just another death trap. So I'm not going to go there.

The imagery invoked is amazing, though.
sathepine 1/19/03 . chapter 1
"Oh my god! You're so good! You're going on my fave list right now! Wow... it touched me so much!"

hehe, just kidding. apparently, i read your bio.

The poem is haunting - quietly, evily haunting. I sensed a subtle evil in here - correct me if i'm wrong. I'm probably sensing subtle evil in random things since I saw "The Ring" _; But this poem is really good, mostly because it's a mystery what this poem is really about. I like it. I'd love to explore it - I wonder, will I be brave enough to face what I'm going to discover in the depths of this poem? (Okay, I'm whacked.)

Nice. Thumbs up!
Thetis 1/12/03 . chapter 1
Very wistful and yes very meaningful, this is one poem which can relate to everyone from different aspects, it seems adjustable to many situations, (which is very rare to find around ffn).

The second to last stanza reminds me a lot of the poem "my last dutchess" (don't know if you've heard of it) you get the sense of seeing or realising your self for the first time and learning...discovering more if you're willing to take the road.

Anyway, great poem, keep it up _
the Queen of Jupiter 1/8/03 . chapter 1
*searches for the hidden meanings* *gives up. I'm no good at this game.* Ollie ollie oxen free!

It sounds very lovely, though. Silent and sort of like tip-toeing around...that's what I gathered, anyway. I love the line "Blinding/Learning to dance, hauntingly beautiful/To the music of your death" - paints a gorgeous image, and it's just chock-full of hidden meanings, I'm sure.

Keep writing. Peace

Crymson Rhapsody 1/4/03 . chapter 1
Oooo... I like... very mystical... very nice. Good structure and nice atmosphere to it. And thanks for the comment on my "Disease" poem-sorry about my profile; my ex who I had hoped to get back together with had basically flat out told me it's not gonna happen, at least not for a loooong time, and I realllllly have a lot of feelings for him so... yeah... I'mma go change it now... hehe, but thanks for looking past that and checking out my stuff anyway
in other words 1/4/03 . chapter 1
Sweetdeal. Know what? I think I get it... but I'm not going to type it all out because honestly... I can't really describe it. Meh.. it happens. I'll maybe try it in an email or something.

Like the music words... you're being true to your passions here I see. :) Your poetry is pure passion... because isn't that what it's supposed to be in the first place? I dont think that mae sense... but hey. I'm out of it today. Lookk at me go, I'm even rhyming in my spare time. ;)

Love you, love this.

E. Gao 1/4/03 . chapter 1
Wow...haunting. At first glance it seems music-oriented, but then it morphs into dance, then conversation, then visual art...It seems like a big conglomeration of culture...I mean, that's how we choose to express ourselves, right? Through words, pictures, arpeggios. To me, at least, this represents the implications of art (in all its forms), and the fact that it can touch us in so many ways. [shrug] I'm probably horrendously wrong, in terms of the 'hidden meanings...' it's just what I chose to get out of it, I guess.

Anyway, it's excellent...I liked the stanza on the self-portrait. Beautiful stuff..
