You know... I rather like the CONCEPT you used for the story. The entire "ugh, unconditional love... the pain... get away..." sort of thing Sharael has going on. So... Pretty... ^_^; Pretty might not be the word, though. The poor tortured children, ne?

“Of course not.” He wrinkled his nose cutely in distaste. “I have staff to take care of those sorts of things. I do have friends and lovers to visit though.”

“What?” I growled the word out lowly. “You’re not going to keep any of these ‘lovers’ are you?”

“Would it please you if I didn’t?” He asked sweetly, as if offering me the world.

I may be insane... Because I never DID finish "The Life of a Gay Slayer" and I'm beginning THIS before I finish THAT. But I will finish that; don't worry. I'm merely supposed to be writing my nanowrimo novel, and I'm -not- so I need to procrastinate. If I use "The Life of a Gay Slayer" to procrastinate... Well, then I may never finish. *sweatdrop*

All for now... I've gotten a little less spastic; guess I'm pretty mellow right now. And while I'm ranting... Hoping you're writing the Moon Twins story. Seeing as this one's been long finished. ^_^;

i'm really glad you wrote this side story. i wondered how one went about dating one of the most powerful demons in the world. especially since sharael became mortal for ishriel.
ishriel had his work cut out for him. in the first two chapters, i was thinking, "it's impossible. give up." and then it worked. and then it totally sucked (not the story, the relationship strain cos of the vamps (grr)). i'm really glad gabriel found sharael. when he was running from those burly dudes and crashed into *someone,* i nearly had a heart attack.
so, yeah. this is a great story. but then, given LoaGS, i'm not surprised. ^_~
