It won't be enought to say I love you. So I'll read your stoof. I believe in censorship of children's stoof until they're mature enough, but when they're mature enough is the parents' choice. Not mine. I think that censoring sucks **. It really does. B/c the parents should be censoring what their children watch. Ratings are given for a reason. I think.

I agree, censorship sucks!What is the point? We will have to face it someday. Whatever they may be censoring will be in our lives later on. Its like just throw the fast ball now and get it over with. By the way...the poetry itself is great!

It's great, but I do agree with the whole idea of changing the word kill in line 7 because of line 3 and 4... but yeah, that's minor. Short, sweet, and too the point!

i like this... short, but a good point and well written. the last three lines are the best - "a pale irony" is wonderful.
perhaps in line 7 choose a different word for "kill," since you already repeat "kill" twice in lines 3 and 4.
all in all, excellent job.

Thanks for writing this. I have a problem with censorship as well. Unfortunately I haven't been able to distance myself enough from my anger at it to actually put some thoughts down- So thanks for writing this. And thanks for reviewing my haiku. I liked this poem. Keep writing.

I'm not -exactly- sure where you're coming from on this. And I'm not really sure what I believe about censorship. Certain things, like **, shouldn't be running rampant. But I don't think everything should be centered towards children.

At first I just ignored this one, assuming I would just disagree and be annoyed, but I saw the approval of Heart and decided to read it. And I saw your point.

Yes. Censorship is not hip. Your poem could be though. I wouldn't dream of denying that.

I've said this once, and I'll say it again:

Censorship SUX!

Is this society ruled by a bunch of hypocrites? Censorship is the thing that caused my MSTs to be banned, for they weren't considered "stories" even though weak script-form stories are allowed. My MSTs had more plot then most of the stories that appear on Fanfiction today! WHY DID THEY HAVE TO BAN THEM? >_<

Sorry. I started ranting again. Good poem, as it has lots of meaning to it. Another job well done, my friend. ^_^

The poem is cool ! I understand what you want to make us understand. But I have a question. You say :"For the sake of decency/While people kill one another/While violence runs rampant." Censorship has his limit I agree totally but don't you think that it has his just cause ? What will be our world Without it ? I believe it would be worse...

But your rigth, I believe there's censorship and then... censorship. People can be hypocrite when they want to brainwash others... I am on the side of parents who want to protect their children, but they have to teach themselves what they want to protect them of. Because if not for them, it will be Life or Death anyway.
