By the end, when all my guesses were being crossed out, I was trying to think so hard about who he was, and I could never remember anyone who would do it! Very masterful plot line, though the grammar was a bit off. The characters are very real. |

Ancient Egypt was my first fetish, moving on to medieval england, then to Asia, and finally resting on Gaelic. From what I know (which I probably overestimate at times,) this seems very accurate according to culture. History-wise, though, I fear I've no idea. I really loved how the charries developed, and the color in your descriptions. To me, that's half of what a book is good for. The majority of it was very believable, and left the reader feeling satisfied. I was sad when it was finished. I wanted to read more! In any case, this is definitely a favorite of mine. By the way, I found Bomani quite cuddly. ^.^ -Alexis |

You said he was killed by the Kushites: "The Kushite man brought the battle mace down ** the back of Bankole’s head. The vizier fell to the earth, dead." I don't really understand how he's still alive in the end. |
