That was just beautifully written. You have a real gift with descriptions and characterization, and the autheticity of the time and place really comes through, too. Also, I really admire you ability to PACE things! most writers whip through events like that, but this moves at just the right speed. I just love it, I really do-it's kind of reminiscent of Utena or Rose of Versailles, but I adore it to death!
