What a funny story! A very interesting idea. The combination of the silliness of the plot and the subtle humor of the Pens' dialogue and, in general, the whole writing style is really great.

Hmm, kind of reminds me of me (note to self, Kattie: remember to eat today, something that you can eat with one hand while typing). Funny story :) Had me laughing with self-recognition since my neighbors used to refer to me as "The imaginary daughter" because no one ever saw me, lol

this was funny! i loved it. it gave me the feeling like i was reading a newspaper article. i know the feeling of parents wanting me to stop writing. they complain that i spend too much time writing. but as Richard as an example, there is no such thing as too much time writing :)
