Talia Falcon 2005-12-25 . chapter 1
A long time ago, you reviewed my poem and we talked a little. Today I was using your essay on being a fur to explain it to someone, a method I use surprisingly often as it's the clearest explanation I've found. You referred to this poem. I came and read it. I love it, the repition and that it scans and the way it lives.

I just thought you might like to know that.

i really liked your 'at one-ness' with nature...with rabbits in this case. very descriptive and accurately so about the rabbits. a wonderful joyous poem. such a good feeling reading it!

This is my favourite style of poetry...it has a classic feel to it. Your description of nature is beautiful.

Heh, only problem I found was the colon in the second stanza. It should technically be a semi-colon I believe...but whatever. Good job nonetheless. I'm going to go read more of your stuff.

Wow again, I'd no idea rabbits were such complex creatures. I used to think them quite simple, but your work continues to convince me otherwise.

A lovely poetic piece. Nice work.

I liked it. A lot. I also read Rabbiting on, but I must admit I didn't really understand the most of it. :) Sorry. But now I think I do understand.. Have you by any chance read His Dark Material by Phillip Pullman? Well.. Either way, in this trilogy, there's a paralel universe, much similar to ours, where all the people have their daemons. Which are a part of them, actually, their soul, but also creatures for themselves.. If you understand what I'm trying to say. So.. I guess I do understand what you're describing. And I like it. A lot. I've given it thoughts too.. I think my animal would be a jackal.. I have an unusual fondness for jackals and spiders. But I guess I'm still not a fur.. Ok, now I'm ranting and it has nothing at all to do with this review, right?.. Sorry again!!

Love,
Sheena

I can't comprehend your fascination with rabbits, but then they're introduced pests that do massive environmental damage here (Australia). Of course, the same could be said for white people. I don't know if any non-fur could really understand this, but I did like it.

You know what? This is about... a rabbit! Isn't "lagomorpha" like the scientiic name for the family of rabbits?

That was beautiful, so sweet and striking. it showed the bond between you and a rabbit in a very powerful way.
Saluna 2003-04-21 . chapter 1
I like that. It's very good, I don't think words I can use in this review can do it justice.
suckerplucker 2003-04-19 . chapter 1
i liked this, you could really tell you enthusiasm for rabbits
some of your lines however were confusing, most of all 6. Money spiders? are these a special spicie/breed that i don't know, or are they a typo (probably not), or is it some symbol/reference that i'm not getting?

I must admit i hit your profile because i have a friend (11 or 12) who lives in new england, oh well, so much for finding that logan

Final note (sorry, i'm rambling):I really like your standardized meter, i found my foot tapping to my reading, and i also really enjoyed the repetitive ending lines (a rabbit thinks, sees etc.) however the very last line was a bit confusing, was the "Ah" a sound of revelation or contentment? or is there just an extra H??

Nicely put. I never really thought about rabbits this way, but now I will. It had a sense of connectedness to it that I find enjoayble in poems.
