Oh, this had very nice description and hinted at what was to come, but it still retained mystery and makes you wonder what's going to happen. It's a very nice prologue.

This is a very strong start to a story, giving the reader enough to let them ponder, but not too much so they can guess what happens next.
Your descriptions and sense of atmosphere are beautiful.

Talk about a teaser! How could you stop there? You write so well – breathtaking descriptions and atmosphere, but as of yet, no story!! ARGH!
