That is pretty good. Some constructive critisism here(not many poeple do that)

Most of the poem is simple words, but the first stanza has longer words. It would be better if it was consistent.

This was the beginning of a journey. I love the description of the elements. It is those things that are experienced by all that allow such a wide range of readers to connect with images. As Tolkien would put it, "The road goes ever on and on down from the door where it began." I read your profile, and very very much am obsessed with LotR as well! I think thats why I was drawn to this poem. Very well written! Many thanks for posting it!
