hm... nice piece!

as usual, vivid and in depth.

I'd like to see more. More of everything. More of what the difference was between the bright-skinned people and the people with a duller skin tone. More of Allys's betrayal. More of his being 'saved.' More of the ship. This story could easily be doubled in length and a bit more description would be a definite boost.

As to content--w00t w00t! impressive. I like how even the wonderfully, perfectly good people aren't really all that good inside and I do like Allys's betrayal (it's a bit sudden. maybe if it were more gradual... you foreshadow it well though). And splendididididididididy for the ending.

I really liked it. A good job of describing the characters and the scenery. It was also nicely paced. Good job.
