I like where this is going. I can't wait until the next chapter. i like how you were really acurate refrense with the kitsunes draining energy and magic. It is suprising how many people just omit that.

I'm still waiting for stuff to start. Other than that, it was very poetic. You've got the description part down pat. There were a few moments where I wasn't completely sure what was going on (like with the ocean), but I think it's for dramatic effect, so I'll just shut up.

OOh! Kitsune` action! Shapeshifting animal reincarnations with elemental powers are always fun. Sorry, but the girl (first-day-of-high-school) seems a little dippy. Her dreams must be pretty spooky. I hope the next chapter is posted up sometime during the summer. Come on! I wanna see some Nogitsune vs. Myobu action!

The way you portrayed the characters- emotionally and physically- is really poetic! I really like this story, the verses are simple but they just jump into the mind as these really vivid images. Nice effect.
