Interesting. It almost doesn't feel like Miquat is Cassie's son, though. Not enought feeling is dedicated to that part of the story. Another question I have is how did the northeastern US become a desert and why is it ruled by French people now? Other than that, I hope this is a story you don't abandon.

Wow,I try to avoid getting attached to your works since you rarely finish them, but this one is really good. Kind of confusing, but military stories usually are in the beginning. I'm going to read the next one now.
