I have goosebumps. This . . . this is exactly how I feel about America. I mean, yeah, we're a lot more advanced than a lot of other countries, but we have so much wrong withour country that we shouldn't go around "fixing" things that don't need to be fixed and telling other countries how to go about their business before we fix our own problems. Just to let you know, that was REALLY sedate for me.

GOOD! It perfectly expresses the way a lot of people feel about the US (including me) and (what I think, anyways) the us stands for. The color things are a good... uh... metaphor (i think that's what it's caled. it's been a long time since i've thought about poetry). Again, it's WONDERFUL!

Very good poem. I'm not American so I can't relate to that aspect but it's got a very strong message nevertheless. Keep writing :)

Wow...I mean...wow. This is amazing writing. Sorry if I say so, but this is a very depressing opinion which I disagree with, but that's your right. It's truly amazingly written, though.

It IS your opinion...and although I disagree, it's a good poem.

While I hate the fact we must have a war, I know that yes, we MUST have a war. We have to do something about Saddam, before he kills even more innocent Iraqi citizens. Bush is not trying to kill innocent people. Saddam is. But I think we would feel more guilt if we sat there and did nothing than if we went in there and did something about it even though it wasnt in the most peaceful manner.

By the way, another one of your opinions...that I disagree with: abortion. Yes, I think it's wrong, to just kill off a baby before it's even had a chance to be born. And what bugs me is that most people are for abortion are against the death penalty. Killing innocent babies while letting murderers live...

I just strongly think the Democratic party is not very bright in some areas.
