VolumeInfinity 10/17/03 . chapter 1That is exactly how I, and so many of us out there feel. How can we ever climb back up? I still don't know that, and it' been ayear and a half. But I do have an idea, even if it has been hard so far. It involves trying. Hard. How do they expect me to want to try if if everytime I've tried in the last 18 months has been a miserable failure? Jeez. A paxil a day and they think you're fixed. Infinity |
Jupiter's Tears 9/13/03 . chapter 1Wow..this was so well written. Sad and beautiful at the same time. (It can rather scary how those two words often go hand in hand.) I think I'll save this poem to my favorites and possible save it to my computer for future reading if you don't mind. (If you do, go ahead and send me an email telling me to get a life or somethin' ;) ) |

Sunflower Philosophy 5/26/03 . chapter 1Here's one: imagine a single sunflower at dawn. There are many vines and other weeds around it, and the sunflower is sad; it doesn't like the way the world is working for it. And then there's a little blue light shining on the horizon. The sunflower snaps to attention, lifts its golden head towards the light. The sun begins to rise over the field, and the sunflower follows it. Every day. Even on a cloudy day, when it's hard to understand where the sun has gone, that sunflower will tilt its face toward the sun and be a light unto the weeds. It will not despair anymore at the failure of those weeds; rather, it will see the good in them, and stand a single example of all that is good and bright. It realizes: why should it spend its life despairing about the failures of others, when it could be changing the world with its beauty...? So goes the Sunflower Philosophy. And I think I'm putting this allegory in my bio. May we all grow to be that sunflower. Oh and by the way, the poem was beautiful. m* Sunflower, anyone? (Now you get it?) |

Lux's Confusion 4/15/03 . chapter 1ok 1st and most importantly i like your boldness, and your lack of, well caring what others might think about your words. it's cool because there arn't that many left on this site like that. another thing is your maturity, but hey i don't need to sit here and give everything away, so i admire your work and believe me thats a compliment you don't hear from me at all. anyway thanks for reviewing my work, glad you found something amusing and comical in them. i'll be watching for ya!
