insulting...

lol, very cute! don't think I've read too many poems about a moth before :p

This is the first poem I've found on here w/ the word 'gormless'. :)

If I were a moth I'd be insulted or I might cry because you're words are hurting me or I might retort "Well, pardon me, if I'm not so bright or if I buzz around a lamp all day." ) They may be annoying but moths do play a role in our ecosystem. They're just as important as we are. ) ) )

It's amazing how they always manage to get inside the lampshades, isn't it? I sometimes wish I didn't feel obliged to help them outside again, as it's a heck of a job catching the big ones. Gormless about sums it up!
