I like this one despite the fact that it's quite dramatic. try every now and then to stray away from the rhymes. they can end up having a reverse affect and taking away from the meaning of you poem.

cept the end, no offense, but it was to happy. Im not so much a morbid person, but it just sorta ended all like, happy in the little kid show way.

Please dont take offense, it was a GREAT poem, and th e ending was good, just the middle and beginning were a lot better

Unexpected endin.. But I was a little prepared for it since you gave it away in the summary.. Good poem though.. Well potrayed emotions and hurt.. Interestin view on life.. But I would say the endin can actually be pretty inspirational.. I like the second stanza best.. Cool part abt the drum roll and vision fading.. Good piece and nicely done..

'and for the record, I wouldn't use a knife'? But knives are so personal ... *reminds self that should not really promote instruments of death*. I like this, it's quite personal and specific to your life. 'Holding myself hostage' - nice! That last ray of optimism right at the end is good, as anotehr reviewer commented - especially like 'and I put the knife away'.

Ya, I agree with the very last part- with a knife you could stop half way...no, I'm not suicidal regardless of what my friends think. Cool poem, and even though it is a happy ending of sorts, I like it. Thanks for reviewing Reasons to kill. It honestly couldn't have creeped you out I think after I read what you wrote.

I think the last paragraph is the best, and I can relate to it. I like the sentiment of this poem, and I *do* like the little bit of hope at the end of the poem. Although that could be because I'm in a good mood.
