Very nice. The last line is made all the more powerful by the way you have it by itself at the end.

Great poem. I especially like the part where silence rings so loud, it's nice to see how something is described by its opposite. Furthermore the poem gives me a feeling of loneliness and...well melancholy for lack of a better word...wonderful. Keep up the good work

wow... really beautiful imagery. And so sad! I know that eerie quiet that seems to come with a blanket of snow.. it's weird and u've described it terrifically! And it works very well with the feeling of, almost acceptance of the sadness because it is so similar to a long and seemingly unending winter. I really liked this poem, great job hon :)

I can't say that I like it, but I can't say that I hate it, either.
