Geez, Geoff, everything's so realistic, it's almost freaky...but very good. The school atmosphere, the students' sentiments about it, it's all so familiar. I swear I could match up each one of your chaarcters with actual people I knew in high school and in college. That's how believable it is.
*gasp* and you're a guy, yet you portray the typical school girl psyche so well...
Anyway, since you did mention that the guy character (Kagami or Lan? they're a lot alike, ne?) was Steph's dream guy, i suppose we have the same 'criteria' for choosing boyfriends... Sounds precariously close to my type as well. I like brainy guys, too!
I noticed that this chapter was longer than what you usually write in your other stories (or is it just me?) Anyway, nice start. I loved how you managed to integrate the character descriptions and their corresponding backgrounds into the dialogue, which also served to show character interaction and relatioships. It's a very utilitarian and efficient way of handling data feeds, and I usually do that, too ^^
Anyway, gtg, be back when schoolwork eases up. After this, I go straight to Hands, right?

Wow... a pretty good story you wrote here! Lan seems like a perfect guy... lol! i like the epilogue... even though i didnt know it was there until you told me and i yelled at you for telling me it was a happy stor when i thought it wasnt... ^^

omg. that was ADORABLE. at first i was like ok fine, screw lan, he's just a dream anyway. i was -so- dissapointed.
though i have to admit, if you stopped there it still would have been a great (though quite melancholy) story.
it was so true, the way they kagami talked about reality. he's so cool i love him!!
and then at the epilogue i was like YAY IT'S LAN, YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY! ! ! ! CAN I HUG HIM?!

this story makes a twist in the end that's as good as any. better even. i hadn't really exected that. i admit that i read the story because the title reminded me of a song. and i'm glad i did. it's beautiful. i'll be reading your works again in the future. keep it up.

I really like this story. Very sweet. Why didn't Yuko acknowledge the fact that Lan knew her and she knew Lan? Well that's just me and my slow brain. Very good though I like it. I'm going to read some of your other stories now. ^^
