I liked this a lot - it flowed well, the style is great and you stick to it.

Admittedly normal, but still thought-provokingly Tim styled. Your endings remind me of Philip K. Dick's in the respect that I have to read them several times in order to "get" them.

Well, it's certainly one of the best cop pieces I've ever seen (but given the state of that genre... not saying very much). I can see the art in it, and I like the rookie. The language flow is sweetly spicy and perfect. This has little pieces of human in it, but (at least for me) it also has a flavor of bravado that does not suit such a short piece.

Damned if I knew what his last line meant! It's very intriguing...
