This was very interesting. I'd have loved to know more. Will there be any sequel? The setting is promising and the hints about the background history are fascinating. I would have liked to know a bit more about what Gard looked like. But his personality is sympathetic, it's easy to like him and want to know how he gets on.

Another beautiful piece. You raise an interesting concept, but you need a "hook." What's going to happen? Are you going to leave it as is or are you planning on extending it? Will it just herald the romance between Gard and Ellie, or is there something more?
