This is so sad! You know, my librarian once mentioned people who get into the Halocaust and she said that it freaks her out. But if a wonderful poem can come out of it, then what's the problem? And that's what this is, a wonderful poem. It's deep.

Great job, though if it had been me, I might have brought out the fact that we aren't animals, but living, hoping, hurting human beings. Still, well written and I like the way you portray the emotions... I also studied the Holocaust this year...
About the Savior, I believe that God is my Savior... "The Lord is my light and salvation..." With all due respect, and of course you'll forgive me because of my religious bias, I don't need a human, living or not, to save me, when God Himself watches over my every move. I believe I am the only one who can redeem myself from any sin I have committed, since it is my responsibility.
This isn't the time or place for a religious debate, but know that I do respect your opinion and appreciate your concern and love as a Christian. You guys can be a little agressive, but you're very lovable when you're not advertising...
