Tyan 2009-11-22 . chapter 1
Damnit. I hate it when my messages get sent incomplete. To sum up what I said: I love how Brian proves himself useful and I'm really wondering what Omen is. I love your writing style and I'm eager for updates, both in Game Over and Blurring the Line. :D

I've now read this and Game Over, and I must say, I love the way you write

Yay! I like it, it pretty good.

Unusually well written, I applaud you for this. This world, its BorderLands, is so very involving. Draws you in, makes yopu a part of it. I find myself speechless at how well thought out you've made it. My only real concern is that perhaps, in the early chapters especially, our dear Brian might have saved his worry for his preferences for a more apt time and focused more on the situation at hand. It has since, it seems, petered out and he has, more or less, come to terms with it.

Now Omen. He's a character. And the way you keep everyone guessing just what he is, keeping us in the dark...it's almost as if its some dark secret or something. You'd think he were an outcast demon or something, ya know? Of course, he keeps his feelings very close to the vest, only really opening himself up when Brian starts storytelling.

It has been some considerable time, granted, but surely the spark is still there, surely you can continue this? Woe am I to have never noticed it before, but now I shall and must wait to see your response. I adamantly hope you will give some sign of its continuation? There's, of course, no guarantee that you'll even pay attention, is there, but one must try.

Begin again..for our heroes sake. Let their story not die out without fulfillment.

Well, having read one, I couldn't just stop there! This story might not be quite as good as the last one... Although it was mostly just the first chapter I didn't like; but it's still fantastic! I wish you'd write more; I truly do.
umm...awestruck reader (points to game over review) 2006-10-08 . chapter 4
ah! i love your stories, both this one and Game Over! but, but, but...why haven't you updated in so long!?!?! *wails* the little excerpt in Edges of Reality hinted at some stuff i've been really anticipating in this story (guilty confession). i hope you haven't dropped any of your stories. they really are among the better few i've read. oh merciful Aphrael, spare us the agony of waiting any longer and UPDATE! please?

I like this. I think it would be good if you wrote some more. it's always ood to go back on oldstories, and this is lovely.

This is an interesting story. I like the premese and loved what I have read so far. I hope you will eventually pick this story back up again.
Yoyo-chan 2005-12-07 . chapter 4
I think you should pick this back up. Even if they're too young for anything to happen (and they are... that's the only thing I don't like) the premise is so interesting.

::pokes the story::

i hope it's not dead! I really really really like it. there are too few stories out there that are fantasy/sci-fi and slash. this is a good 'un though, very intriguing.

characters: brian seems to be taking it as well as can be expected, the whole borderlands thing, then his attraction to omen. i'm impressed by his smarts, er, sort of. books make you knowledgeable, and it's good to see he can actually apply that knowledge when it comes to real-life (heh) situations such as Cet's.

omen's a cutie, though i bet he's got to be a bit jealous at the attention brian's givin' cet. i've got this inkling he's got something to do with the whole gods thing being reborn, which puts me in mind of of similar questions that i'm dying to have answered. i like his penchant for stories, and how he gets all possesive (sort of) "And you owe me more stories - don't forget."

cet and aedwen's situation is interesting, as well as what's going to happen with those two. nice to see someone appreciating brian instead of calling him stupid all the time. in any case, that's intriguing as well, especially with the stolen relic.

anyway, it's a wonderful story, and i do hope you write/post more of it, for it would be a great travesty for it to die where it lays. hope you update soon (ish)

Kitten of Rain 2004-11-12 . chapter 4
ack. nuu! bad cliff-hanger. I want to know what happens!
(LOVE this, btw. very well written, and the fact that the boy's name is 'Omen' is just cool)
r.mai 2004-08-07 . chapter 4
oh shiznittzle... there'll be explaining to do... if they're allowed a chance to explain at all... very interesting... i've read quite a bit of fantasy books and some sci-fi (only sci-fi ish books by Madeleine L'Engle whose work has a sci fi ish feel but also fantasy ish) i've never really taken interest in historical fiction. history yes ... because it is fascinating. blah, too much rambling. i suppose so far that this is my favorite borderland shifting thus far... and brian gets to show some brains! =D i like him. he's cool. ^^ i especially like his fascination and knowledge of history n stuff. hope you update soon!
