Very, very beautiful! I especially liked All the World and Dark Thoughts. They actually kind of remind me of Dark Side Of The Moon, Pink Floyd. All in all, just a real treasure to read. One thing, tho. In Eternity, the one line 'A jumble of all the images'? Heh, 'All' is 'Al'. Al? Who's Al? Sorry, pardon my smart-assishness. ;)By the way, I'm only thirteen, and I think it's quite possible to write good stuff then. I'm not saying MY stuff is good, but for other people, I'm sure they have good stuff from when they were young, they're just too apprehensive to put it up. You should consider writing more poetry; you're very good. ;)

Actually, I just got a message from that bot@fictionpress.n et saying that it has been pulled. Which sucks, frankly- I didn't even use numbers! Now there's a text thingy that says my account has been locked until 05-22-03 11:36pm pst, which just happens to be the 'current time' too. I don't know what's so bad about lists, really. . . *grr* I'll have to put it up on my website.

Sorry for leaving a review that has nothing to do with the poems!

I loved all this poetry! My favorite was All the World is a Stage. Short, sweet, and too the point. I loved how everything ryhmed. It was like my You're Next poem...only written better! Keep writing poetry.

;)

Quite good. I like the style- if you wrote this at 13 too, it shows amazing talent. But then, I hate it when people judge my writing by my age, though- I wrote 'The Sverdlovsk Train Junction' and 'A Song for Valentina' at 13. Oh, well. . .

Anyway, very good poem. I reminds me somewhat of a song by Rush, 'Limelight'. :)

Ah, i love it. When i was 13 my poems generally went like this: You and me/were meant to be/why can't you see?/You're my sun and my tree. If that is what you wrote like when you were 13, i bet the poetry you write now is amazing.

Also, (and I forgot to put this in the last review) I have another poem up I'd like your opinion on- but just a warning: it's quite dark and rather violent.

Overall, well- written and philisophical. 'Dark Thoughts' is the best one.

"Life" is good. It could probably deal with some editing, but just a shine job. It reminds me of something that I wrote, too. "Time" is excellent. No complaints there. "Dark Thought" is good, all minus the last two lines. There is a mystique about it that these two - changing the tone in the manner that they do - only manage to shatter. "Eternity" is also pretty good. Compact, but it has at least one disconcerting typo and the main question (lines 2-5) only finds its rhythm after the third read. Still, there is depth here, and at only 13. So, what does the older, wider Samantha have to offer? Oh, and I hope you are in the habit of giving reviews as well as taking them. I'm not saying, "Review mine!"... but I am hinting with gusto.
