A. Lee 6/6/03 . chapter 42Lonaw must be really depressed ... imagine finding out that your husband's captured ... just before your wedding night, and when you chase after him, some crazy goddess begins taunting you. But there will be a happy ending... right? Right? I hope Lonaw doesn't become stupid and automatically try to kill herself ... she has to at least put some effort into locating Somal first. If she doesn't even attempt to, then I'm disappointed in her. Either way, it's a great story so far! A. Lee |
BbHtrYoink 6/6/03 . chapter 42So why does steel cut off telepathic communication? And why does Lonaw not have a choice of whether or not to wed another? And can Lonaw really stop her heart? And one more thing. You said in a previous chapter that if a star-unicorn comes and judges Neres to be unfit to be head of the Deerfriend Line, but also thought his unfit, he would kill all three of them. I can't imagine the star-unicorn judging Neres fit, but neither can I imagine it judging Somal and Lonaw fit, since Laerfren was disgusted with them in chapter 40. Are they all going to die? :) |
Werecat99 6/6/03 . chapter 41That was not horrible enough. I had hoped for a bit of more bloodshed. Impatiently awaiting for Lonaw's response... |
Werecat99 6/6/03 . chapter 40Hehe... Somal has managed to anger yet another God. That was cute. The wedding ceremony was just stunning. Again, the fine balance between them as lovers and siblings was just perfect. And everything was according to their character. But I had anticipated Somal's gesture with the collar thing, ever since this was mentioned in a previous chapter. And I wouldn't have liked it any other way. As for his thoughts on shyness, they were simply delicious. And I'm not very happy with the way this is going with Somal. I hope Neres dies horribly in the next chapter. |
Werecat99 6/6/03 . chapter 39Oh, that was so sweet from Somal... And I'm glad Lonaw never suspected this move from him. I'm certain it was quite a shock. As for those ravens in this and the past chapter, I'm sure they will mean nothing good. And I certainly loved the last line. You're getting good at cliffhangers. |
Werecat99 6/6/03 . chapter 38For someone empathic, the prison cells must really be a torture. I suppose they hold many dark tales. Yes, right. You don't think cats can be lethal? Ask Gingerhead about it. On the other hand, obeying is not one of their strongest points, so I suppose they would never come when summoned. Neres would be still waiting... Oh, yes. Neres is finally losing it. I think he's more crazy than his son. At least Somal accepts his madness. I wonder why hasn't he met the same fate as Terellas. Isn't he guilty of treason as well? That Divine justice starts to annoy me... "We are not of your world, and we don’t care". Now tell me again these are not cats. They certainly have feline attitudes... |
Darkwind 6/6/03 . chapter 41Too bad Neres has to die. ::laughs manically:: Oh well. Yes! More Star Unicorn! I hope it kills him; it will kill him, won't it? Ha! Now all the stars have to do is save Somal and Lonaw. ::looking worried:: They can do that, right? |
Darkwind 6/5/03 . chapter 40No! Don't kill Somal! I am going to be very upset if that happens. Damn me. I have this terrible habit of getting attatched to characters. Please post more soon. |
Darkwind 6/4/03 . chapter 39"Or a beautiful dream, from which she would have to awaken in a little while." Could we be using a bit of foreshadowing there? Hmm... Aw, how cute! Somal proposed! And they're loved! Yay! Good job. |
BbHtrYoink 6/3/03 . chapter 39Well! Can't say I say that one coming, although I should have. I guess it was the whole brother-sister thing. Great job, as always, on the chapter. Just one question. You haven't forgotten about that amulet that Tirosina gave Neres, did you? Personally, I'm betting Neres gives it to one of his kids as a "wedding present," but I want to know what really happens. If I know your writing style, it will be what I least suspect! |
Darkwind 6/3/03 . chapter 38Time out! Now way can he join Her! Now he's contradicting himself! I really am starting to think he is mad. Good job. |
Darkwind 6/2/03 . chapter 37I'm relieved! They didn't die! And they kicked Goddess ass! ...Or will they die? |
Werecat99 6/1/03 . chapter 37The quote in the beginning was just perfect. The Deities' stupidity is something most people tend to overlook. Hehe... Somal finally snaps. Tirosina should have left Lonaw alone. Gods don't know everything, after all. They are still naked, right? Doesn't this bother anyone involved? Not as a modesty issue, I just think they might feel more, well, exposed. So, a bloodbath in divine blood can make one mortal? Interesting detail. Is this how Tirosina ascended to Godhood? Will we learn more about her past? So, Maremma goes. I'm sorry he chose this path. I liked him. And his interaction with Somal was very well done. It added a lot to both characters. As for that raven in the end, I suspect that Somal becomes too careless. |
Werecat99 6/1/03 . chapter 36Ah, I see Lonaw's fear of heights creeps back in. Good thing Somal is with her. That battle left me breathless. As for the last line, I believe it's one of the most beautiful lines you've ever written. |
BbHtrYoink 6/1/03 . chapter 36You've hooked me. Keep writing, I can't wait to see what happens next! |
