Reviews For: Lost
Sunflower Philosophy 2004-03-31 . chapter 1
Hi. :) Thanks for all the reviews. I didn't expect you to read my stuff here but you did. :)
I saw this poem, all lost and lonely and reviewless, so I decided to start with it.
I love your imagery here, I can see myself right there. The last two words are like lifting a veil you never knew was there- "Of society"- to reveal an entire new meaning to the poem.
Oh yeah- about "Watching", I don't exactly know where the mood from the poem came from, since at the time and from then on I have been a very strong believer in God. You can see from it that I believe in Him, but that little questioning note at the end... I think it was more a lyrical feeling than an actual one. I felt that it would give the poem the right twist at the end lyrically- "Are you still watching? Are you still...?"
Enough about me. This is a beautiful poem and those who skipped over it without reviewing missed out.
m~* Sunflower, anyone?
