You know what's funny? In literature, rain nearly always symbolizes darkness and despair. I find it rather funny, because I like rain; I find it calming and beautiful. I think mine are some of the few poems I've ever seen where rain symbolizes life and renewal. It's interesting the ways you can interpret things.
