Kind of odd but it's interesting. The 'I could love you but uhm.. don't' seemed a bit contrived and rushed but it's definately an intruiging read. I'm enjoying it, although maybe as not as your other fic(s).

Like this story. It's pretty. I don't know if that's the right word to describe it, but it's just what came to mind. Hikaru's my fave so far, and Yukito's quite cute.
Just a question: Have you read the Nightrunner series by Lynne Flewelling? Hikaru's dream in the first chapter, where he sees his father and Keiichi's all kinda slutty *really* reminds me of an almost exactly the same sequence in Luck in the Shadows with the character Seregil and his father.
Just curious.

o. i really REALLY love this story. at first, i must say i thought it was in modern time, but then with the wagon and huts, i'm like... "ah, fantasy. i get it now." ^^;; it's really sweet though with its sad side and all. i'm looking forward to the possible Hikaru/Keiichi yumminess in later chapters.

i liked reading the flashback to yukito, but now i'm starting to wounder how kei's going to be able to get over him to be with hikaru, so i can't wait to see what you do next.
this chapter was a little sloppy compaired to the others, mostlt towards the end though but that might just be me.

Since Keiichi is not even one-half human, does that mean he will have a longer than normal lifespan, since elves are said to be immortal, dryads long-lasting, etc.?

This is great, I was so pleased to see it continued! And thanks for the descriptions of the fey/supernatural creatures in this world, it was interesting and added even more to the story.
