| SilentRiver 2006-02-19 ch 1, | abuseI like this one too, especially the concept of mirrors... |
| Sufo 2003-10-18 ch 1, anon. | abuseNot a true sestina in form. Also, perhaps I am the only one that finds a VERY striking resemblance to Neil Gaiman? I don't have a copy of his "Smoke and Mirrors" on hand, but I do recall some poem in there very much like this... The line about magicians is particularly telling. |
| Nails For Your Crucifix 2003-10-09 ch 1, | abuseNot bad. Didn't follow the format of a sestina though. That's my only bone to pick with you. But I love the idea behind it. The description was wonderful too. Great job. |
| Winter's Roar 2003-08-04 ch 1, | abuseOh i love this, it's magnificent! This is def going on my fav list. I love the repetition of "the fear in you is the fear in me". WOW, wonderfully written! I was working on a poem dealing with mirrors about a week ago, but i just couldn't get it to work. You've explained things wonderfully, it flows very well. I love the line "half fantasies, half lies, half glass" oh *gets chills* this is great!! It was an interesting poem to read, and although i will admit it left me slightly confussed, your words and images were fantastic!! Hats off once again for yet another marvelous poem! ~ winter |
| Frodo 2003-07-04 ch 1, | abuseI loved this! You are really a talented poet. The whole "The fear in you is the fear in me." is really cool. Sorry, I'm a crappy reviewer. This was just great. I can't really explain myself. I loved this. Awesome work. -Frodo |
