I understand that balancing stories is one of the toughest jobs there is but you just have to continue this one! ^_^ In fact I already like the characters... I'm sure you would have developing them, if you ever get to update this, which hopefully you will.
I would want to remark, insignificant as it may seem, I just REALLY like the way you have ended the fic... ^^;; and yes Shianne and Damon interaction to look forward to!
