Because he gave comfort and aid to terrorist groups with connections to al-Qaeda. Because he violated three UN Security Council resolutions. Because he violated the First Gulf War ceasefire agreement between Iraq and the coalition. Because for years he fired missiles at war planes enforcing the no-fly zones (another provision of the ceasefire). Like the Revolutionay War, World War 1, World War 2, The Gulf War, The War on terrorism, and now the Gulf War 2. Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo, Stalin, Pol Pot, Milosevic, Jong Il, and now Hussein. These are the people who toy around without a care in the world. Most wars are pointless. Then again, a war of liberation is pointless to you, unless a Democratic President does the war-mongering. |
