abuseWow. This story took the wind out of me. It was... unbelievably powerful and really, really, good.

Take that from a person who hates angst 99% of the time. ;)

abuseGulping down horror. Fighting back hate. Swallowing the distant visions of death and hate, wondering if they are worth effort. Nothing is worth the effort. The flames take one to hell, but nothing can bring one back.
What humans do is cruel, their lack of reason is disgusting. The differences between life and death are simple. Death is monotone, shreiking in your ears as all you can do is cry, but not feel the tears. Life, you can feel everything, everything and anything they throw at you. Some face more, and some take it all for granted. No one deserves death, but everyone must take it in the end.
Never feeling the need to kill is perfect, but the desire to kill those who died an all too simply death is strange. Swallowing anything is hard. Open up though, because something's about to be forced down.
This story is perfectly revulting. It captures a different, less lax view of things like gays in death camps. The visions are depicted in such a manner as to make one feel wretched and broken, pitying-- no, empathizing deeply for those who have truly suffered. It doesn't even matter that they were both men, that they were prisoners. Just that they loved each other, they had lost another, and they had to loose each other in such a simular way. Human choices ruined by human choices. Death canceled by death, life ended by love.

abuseAw how very lovely and tragically sad. And not many people tend to lurk in the area of those years. I have to admit it's pulled off dashingly.
o.o And I'm wondering how people can ask for a sequel when there aren't any characters left for that--well of the two main ones. Then again you could always do a prequel.

abuseYou have an obvious talent for description. This story was painfully beautiful with its powerful, utterly raw emotion. Every word screamed of despair and sorrow and a desperate need to survive, and I found myself hurting along with the characters. You know the perfect way to weave words and sentences together to create a story so marvelously detailed in its agonizing glory that, in the end, I felt the loss in my heart.

abuseThe only pet peeve I had was the dialouge. You used too many 'ehs, ois, and mates'. It's like you couldn't decide whether they were canadian, british, or australian. Also, the bombing of britain happened after poland was in total control of the nazis. Besides that, utterly beautiful. I cannot wait until you upload the next chapter. ::adds to alert ::

You have talent. I wish you would write more stories.

abuse*sniffles* That was beautiful. Simply beautiful and so touching. It's a nice setting...well not /nice/ but it's a different focus than what people think of when they hear the Holocaust.

Great job.
