Okay with this story I have a few ideas... First elaborate on 'the boys' in great horrific detail. Next you can make there be a school or training class or session that Diane has to go through that can be really bad or something in order to become guardian of the mansion. Remember details on the surroundings! What color is the bed? What size is it? What color is the bathroom? What is in the bathroom? How many stories did she jump in order to escape? In all honesty I get most of my own wrting ideas after reading some of your writing. Just a few ideas that might help you along.
