QestioningReason 2005-05-10 ch 1,	Someone was OFFENDED over this? I admit - For the last three years, my GPA has been a consistent 4.0... I can see how you might offend someone if you only talked about how OTHER people have issues with pride, but, by including yourself, you make the message a lot easier for people who suffer with such an afflicton. Thankfully, I don't. I'm always begging for help from one of my best friends, who I swear is the best student I've ever met. But whatever. I don't know much about poetry, but the 'Hamlet' line seemed to be kinda stretching it... I don't really care much for poetry, and I probably wouldn't notice good poetry if it bit me, but I confess that I wasn't totally amazed by the way this sounded. Regardless, I LOVE the deeper thoughts in this, and it sounded pretty cool in some places. Good job, or whatever...

H. M. Banson 2004-07-26 ch 1,	Hmm... this was interesting. It seemed almost a little... conflicting... at times though. The beginning of the piece was all "I'm not going to live in your world or play by your rules" and it made me think that the speaker was very self-confident and secure with who they were, but then it kind of flipped around with the whole "I'm too proud" thing and it just... hmm. Sorry, I'm rather having trouble articulating just what about this piece sort of threw me. I'm not trying to tell you that I disliked it; on the contrary, the quality was good, I liked the word choice, and the message was good... I don't know, but just the whole flip thing threw me for a loop. On a complete side note... I love your penname! ^-^ Always, ~Hollie Marie

Lina Inverse 2003-05-29 ch 1,	This really offended me. I used to be one of the people who stressed out about every little B, and it was NOT out of pride. It was because my parents yelled at me for getting a B in a class, or, hell, even on a quiz. I've never been to proud to admit I'm no good nor put myself on a pedastal. In fact, I'm quite the opposite; I pick out my flaws and hate myself for them.

(Not grades though, just things like how little time they had to finish an assignment, when they had like two months, and so on.) I liked it
