This is very sad. I love the last line.

the imagry here was vivid in your vague way, but i was seeing it, the doll. it reminded me of the movie A.I. for some reason. i like how you wrote about the charater as a once vibrant being and as her heart broke, so did the rest of her body. i just had an image of the doll among miles and miles of shards from other broken dolls. the ending was definently the best part. great great job. i can't seem to say that enough!
