Hmm..that's quite dramatic. I can almost hear the tune to this in my head. Great poem. I like how you switch between rhyme and free verse.

as always, wonderfully wonderful - you're very good at writing song lyrics. it ends on a nice note. confusing line, though: "as long as i'm here they'll always be a chance" did you mean "there will always be a chance"?

i like the second part of this song, nicely done.
