Powerful piece. It kind of reminded me of "Flanders Fields," but the tone was much more harsh and chilling, almost spiteful to those reading it. I like your choice of narration for that reason.

The rhyme and rhythm were also good. They were very smooth and really added to the effect of the piece.

[We are the stricken/Able only to weep] Powerful lines.

You've probably never heard of me, but I'll review you r work all the same.
I thought your poem was incredibly deep and meaningful. Most times when people try to write a poem about war and the affects it has, you end up with some soppy piece of junk. But this... This was something else. And when it comes to making it rhyme AS WELL as making it sound amazing, most people become unstuck, but you... You made it sound better. You have a gift. An incredible gift.

Powerful. I really like it. Those last two lines are wonderful, "to our broken souls/our bodies play hosts".
