Reviews For: Fireflies
Tasiha 2005-02-22 . chapter 1
*shivers*

Too beautiful.

Yes, I know this one confused me last time but with the intro here and now and with the fact that it's noon, not midnight, I've a bit better comprehension of it.

I have to admit that I consider this one of your best pieces. Succinct, powerful, and yet... it says so much all at once. *claps obnoxiously*

Always,KMJ

Great depth of meaning and sensitivity. I can't find fault with it nor would I make you redo it. I really like your poetry.

i. love. this.

in fact, i'm really rather shocked that it doesn't have a review. it certainly deserves plenty of them. lol ok brainwave: how's about i leave you an extra long one to make up for this gross injustice? :P this is so creative. the fascinating perspective snagged me right off the bat, and the "youngster" was an awesome touch as well. loved how you used "lonely" ~ by the end of the poem it was so much deeper than the word alone would suggest. and i love how you've created actual personalities and characters for the planets (Saturn was my favorite). i could really picture everything very clearly, too, which is always a good thing. :P and i completely sympathize with you, btw. people here just don't have any appreciation for the greatglorious genre that is science fiction, and they're not so accepting of fantasy either (my other favorite thing to write). i mean, i tried to write a "normal" story but about ch. 15 i couldn't resist any longer and added sci-fi and magic to it, and these people just *attacked* me, i mean they were ** *BUT* after a few more chapters they started to change their minds and realize how great this stuff really is, SO there is hope for us! :) poets are even less accepting than prose writers, it seems. but tell ya what, post a few more of these masterpieces of yours and i'll post another magic piece-story as well (gosh it's been a while since i've done that . . .) and together, we shall start a revolution! muahahaha! (sorry, i'm not usually this scary, really. :P) again, i adore this poem to pieces! you did a fantastic job on it! LOVED it muchly! kudos and post again soon!
