Well that was an interesting read. It took me a while, but I did it. LOL. I love it. I really do; I thnk you have a great plot. But I do have constructive criticism though.

For one, your characters seem shallowly developed outside their love lives. I realize that it's probably because that's what the story is about, but even so, chracters development is essential for a story to seem alive. Also, you try to create angst for Mikah, I believe, but that seemed kind of weak as well. I don't know. It just seems like a lot of overstating to me. His situation isn't that bad, not any worse than mine or anyone that lives in my town. And the ending seems kind of abrupt. I know ending a story at a sad part with a sort of cliffhanger is popular, but it's still hard to do correctly.

Note. I did not say this to be mean. I love your story, I really do. The humor amuses me and the romance makes me smile. And I know it's a little too late to critique, but I though I'd do it anyways. And after all, this story is old. I'm positive you're a whole of a lot better writer now. I do love this, and I'll be reading the sequal soon!

I keep thinking I've reviewed this story (and I may have. If so, forget that last statement, and pretty much this whole thing, 'cause it's likely I've said it before ^.^ I have a really bad memory).
At first my favourite character was Mikah, but throughout the story it changed and became Kael. I can't help it - he's so damn cute!
I know I'm reviewing for the first chapter, but I've read the whole thing >.<
Your writing is amazing! I love the way you describe emotions, and that you don't skip over anything.
I'd write more, but I have a tonne of homework, and most of it's due tommorow xD
