I'm not really a fan of poetry, what with not being able to write or understand it, but I thought this was really well done. Call me an idiot (go ahead, I dare ya!) but I like most poetry that rhymes. The Raven being my favorite, which has the same rhyme scheme as yours. And I thought the rhyme scheme worked out VERY well in this, I know sometimes it can be very difficult to find words that rhyme.
I especially liked the last stanza in your poem, I thought it had the best lines.
