Reviews For: willing torture
BloodBrother 2003-08-15 . chapter 1
"calmly sleeping in this house of mirrords and dreams"

BOOM! Those are great lines, they're like TOUGH ACTIN TINACTIN.

Good rhyming scheme, although TECHNICALLY "mind" and "finds" don't rhyme. But I do the same thing, adding an "s" onto it. So don't worry.

another very powerful, dangerous line: "try to kill our lover? go ahead; use a bucket to empty the ocean" Its like your just lashing out at someone, I love it.

You're a great poet, you know that.

*sigh* once again passionate, powerful, breath taking...so lovely to rad, an absolute pleasure.
i especially liked the idea of torture *just call me sadistic* but i think it really gave the poem a beautiful twist, one of bitter sweetness which just really gripped my attention. love poems are always best when they have a twist, just gives them a lil bit of flavour and spice - what can i say, i l9ove romeo and juliet.
i would just like to say i am not going to choose my fav lines because i have a whole staza replaying in my wind which absoluitely blew me away and addicted me to the rest of the poem..the 1st stanza was magnifico, so perfect in its descriptions - once again the bitter sweet edge - it was just so effective in a "you are my dead, my love" sort of way, so so so amazing. im going to shut up now and stop cluttering up your email, keep up the absolutely amazing poetry, i dont even think i need a coffee any more *yeah right* wel;l almost :D, kudos

I'm...lost of words. I don't know why but I;ve never attempted romance poetry before. This is shockingly beautiful.

A job well done!

An amazing poem. I've never quite seen anything like that. You described your love for him so well. He is quite lucky.

very nice! this has a great little rhythm running through it - kinda like a drumbeat. i thought it was a very captivating way to depict a relationship and what it's forced to endure. 'tis really quite beautiful and the bits that aren't make up for it by being so wonderfully fascinating. really liked these parts: "i kiss the subtle knife that/is scarred from all its killing" *sidenote-helpful-hint! change the "it's" to "its" to show possession ;)* it was interesting to think of the knife as being scarred instead of the knife's victim being scarred, "fevered mind," "house of mirrors and screams" (the rhythm in that line seemed to scream the scream's scream for it - not that that makes sense at all, does it? *sigh* :P), and "use a bucket to empty the ocean" (fabulous image there, also liked the tone of that line). great piece! liked it muchly!
