Anyway, onto the story. Great.
You did a great job writing this, and I'm trying to pick out the best parts but your style merges into itself too well and it's good all around. And it's been a while since I've been able to say that.
Slightly too cryptic at first, a little more then you'd need to keep someone reading.
That's the only problem I could find, really.
The part where she/you were talking about your English final was awesome. Just a touch of something everyone could relate to made the events seem more real.
Again, great job.
