This is a great story, though I was really prepped for a relationship between the prince and the scribe -- and then all of a sudden there's this Golden Deer. Can't say I appreciate the intrusion... It just seems so unfair. But still, I applaud the story.

I am seriously fangirling you and this story. I love it, I got angry, sad, and cried at least twice while reading it. I was supposed to study for a math test last night, but I got distraced reading this. And then when I didn't finish it, I printed the last few chapters and read it on the bus this morning, also when I should have been studying. I'm going camping this weekend, but as soon as I come back, I'm reading the rest of your stuff.
