Nice rhyme scheme (see? you can too rhyme!)

For some reason the first one makes me think of the reflection of the sun on the water. I don't know if that's the answer though.

The first riddle seems well constructed, though the end rhyme is a bit too simple. My answer to that one would be 'the day' or 'daylight.' I had been thinking that the sun would be a probable answer - at least until you referenced it directly in the riddle. ;

Your second riddle strikes me as the more composed, although a lack of the same ethereal imagery as the first was somewhat disappointing. I can't fault you too much, however - the thing you describe probably didn't warrant the same sort of portrayal. My answer to this one would be 'a bow.' More properly it would be a longbow, I think.

Interesting. Is the answer to the first riddle 'water'?
