you're right that this isn't your usual style... but i see think it's actually really good! yes, change is a good thing.

The ending's kind of rough, like you couldn't figure out what to place there. I liked the description, but again, it sounded forced. I don't know, maybe I'm just not used to the fluffy stuff (it's usually morbid and angsty). It's good though. Just ... different. Not many people try to capture moments like this, let alone succeed in it. Keep writing.

sweet, really sweet such raw emotion in this story i could feel the tension, maybe try adding a little more description, (but then i like descriptive stories so thats probably a bias opinion) Very close to home. Brilliantly written well done!
